Creative Business Mindset

Aidan Hall, owner of KC Handmade Goods and organizer of the KC Local Craft Fair, is a high school senior at Shawnee Mission West.

He started KC Handmade Goods about five years ago, making duct tape wallets and other crafts. Since, he’s been able to reinvest in a die-cut machine to create t-shirts, vinyl decals and other items featuring his own designs. He loves turning his Kansas City-themed designs into physical products for customers to enjoy!

In November of 2020, he started the KC Local Craft Fair, starting as a website featuring local makers of the greater Kansas City area. It has allowed makers to put their names out there and garner sales that have been hard to get during the coronavirus pandemic.

But the really cool thing about Aiden is that he is grounded in faith. He uses his giftings to help others and he’s been able to make a job out of what he loves to do.

We sat down with Aidan last year to hear more of his story. Watch it online here.
